CORRECTION TO PHONE NUMBER for Native American Law MCLE Seminar
The Foothills Bar Association is presenting an hour long MCLE seminar Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004 from noon to 1 p.m. at BJ's Bar & Grill in Grossmont Center, La Mesa. For reservations, please contact Rita Drouin at 619-588-1936.

The topic is "American Indian Law: Ten Things Every California Attorney Should Know" and the featured speaker will be noted Native American Law scholar Nancy Carol Carter, University of San Diego Professor of Law and the Director of the USD Legal Research Center Cost is $15 for Foothills Bar Association members and their guests and $20 for anyone else. One hour of MCLE General Credit is available.

November 16, 2004 - MCLE Class Nov. 16th- Online Research
Starting Location: Main Law Library- 1105 Front Street

The Law Library is offering another MCLE class free to members on Nov. 16th from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Good for 2 hours of General (Participatory) credit, this class is called "Doing Legal Research on the Internet Using LoisLaw, Shepard's, GPO Access and the Official California Legislative Web Site for Attorneys." This is a hands-on computer class and will show you what is available online and where it is located.

This class is only available to current members of the Law Library, and is free as one of your membership benefits. For further information or to sign up, call (619) 531-3900.

Note: We have a ten minute rule in effect for MCLE classes. If you reserve a spot but have not checked in at least 10 minutes before the session begins, your reservation will be cancelled and your spot given to someone else.
