Director Search Under Way
LAW LIBRARY BOARD OF TRUSTEES ANNOUNCES EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR SEARCH

The Board of Trustees has initiated its search for a new executive director.

The executive director oversees multi-site library operations and provides leadership in executing the strategic plan of the San Diego County Public Law Library. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the relevancy and vitality of the Library consistent with state law and with the vision and policies set forth by the Board of Trustees.

"With the library about to embark on a major renovation of our downtown branch, it's a great time to be part of this vibrant organization," said Judge Julia Kelety, president of the library's board of trustees. "We're excited about the prospect of new leadership to help guide us through this process and beyond."

The primary responsibilities for the job are:
  • Strategic Planning and Execution
  • Operations
  • Board and Community Relations
  • Staff Supervision and Management
